Who am I? - A little about me.
ANDY S HAYES ARPS EFIAP/g DPAGB PPSA
I am an experienced nature, wildlife and aviation photographer who dabbles in a little creative work. Spending much of my time working from my home in Fettercairn, Scotland with occasional trips to exotic places abroad, Europe, India and Kenya.
Officially retired, from ownership of a construction business, I am fortunate to have time to develop my passion for photography.
I am an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, achieved Excellence/ gold standard with the Federation Internationale del'Art Photographique, PPSA distinction with the Photographic Society of America and a holder of a Distinction award from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
I am a Scottish Photographic Federation judge and give talks on Aviation and Wildlife. I have the pleasure of judging and speaking remotely at national and international level.
I continue to work on several wildlife projects close to home and have produced AV’s and Videos on Dippers, Goshawks, Wildcats, Pine Martens, Badgers and Woodpeckers.
My current aim is to produce a portfolio of images that promote the magnificence of Scottish nature in a natural way showing people what the Scottish environment can offer.
‘I am very conscious of the fragility of my wildlife locations and subjects and endeavour not to disturb or leave a footprint.
I encourage you to do the same’.

Images to enjoy.
These images have been captured over about 20 years and I want to let others see them rather than have them hidden away on my Hard Drives.
The website is a database of images.
They are of everyday events, some remarkable, some intimate and some breathtaking.
My aim is to let others see what I have been fortunate to witness and for people to enjoy.
In time I will develop a Sales Section for acquiring Images and Prints.
In the meantime if you are interested in acquiring Images or Prints please contact me through the CONTACT page.
All profits will go to a small school that I help support in Archers Post, Kenya. The school, Lisa’s School consists of 60 children from age 3 to 6 years in three classes of 20. The money raised goes directly towards their Education and Welfare. There are no administration costs, the charity is run by volunteers.
If you wish to donate to Lisa’s School please email me for the contact details.
